Testimonials

I just wanted to take a moment to say thank you to team Kilmarnock. Unfortunately, I lack the vocabulary to express how grateful I am to have you guys to turn to when we are in trouble. The professionalism and reliable service is above and beyond. The work that you do outstanding.

Once again, many thanks to everyone at Kilmarnock Enterprise for the many extra miles that you have travelled for us. Thank you in advance for the miles yet to be travelled.

Thank you also for allowing me to visit your incredible facility.

Dan Havis Maintenance Planner / Reliability Leader - Pembroke MDF Inc.

Thank you very much for the extra help you and your Team of trades gave us during our December 24 to 27 planned maintenance shut.

I know it was during the festive/holiday season, a long weekend and persons would have had plans for their time away from work. So I really appreciated your Team support and look forward to working with you during 2017.

Please convey our thanks to your Team.

Basil Obermuller, P.Eng. Snr. Maintenance Engineer - Pembroke MDF Inc

“We have been working with Kilmarnock for the past few years on many projects both big and small.

The main reason we work with them is their strong team atmosphere from the design aspect to the fabricating and assembly if needed. It’s a one stop maintenance shop.

We brought this project (Portable Trailer Stage) to them about a year and a half ago after we contacted three companies for a job quote Kilmarnock being one of the companies the other two companies would not quote the job because of the liability factor.

Kilmarnock took my hand drawing and gave it to their design department. They designed a very professional drawing from mine.

We were kept in the loop right from the design to the assembly of the unit every step of the way when a section was complete we inspected it before they move on to the next step very team oriented. If a picture is worth a 1000 words then just take a look. I have said enough.

Thanks”

Stephen Blakely, Maintenance Technician, City of Quintewest

"The job (structural re-enforcements on platforms) went very smooth and we are very pleased with the results, all of the guys were great.

The Foreman was excellent, He checked in at the major steps of the job and had everyone moving in the right direction. He was able to quickly accommodate some small changes to the scope of work and was able to quickly correct some small variances in measurement, you have an asset there for sure.

In truth this is the service I have always experienced with Kilmarnock and why I would recommend Kilmarnock to anyone seeking mechanical services."

Chris McLean, Maintenance Technician, Employee Health & Safety Rep., Orgaworld Canada Ltd

"I have worked with Kilmarnock Enterprises over the past 18 years primarily for production equipment modification project work. Kilmarnock has a strong team of Designers, Machinists, Mill Wrights and support Team that have been able to react to any situation, regardless of the level of complexity.

Their ability to react, as well bring design, certification, fabrication, testing, installation and support has led to projects successfully completed from strategic safety initiatives, process improvements, equipment modifications and fabrication.

Kilmarnock’s ability to have all disciplines under one roof allows for a complete and timely solution to the challenges of time sensitive installations. Overall, Kilmarnock has been an excellent Team member for project and strategic work and will continue to be in the future.

Kilmarnock’s ”design, build” capability has been extremely helpful in execution of our most recent production line upgrade at 3M Brockville.

In this project we encountered many challenges along the way, such as the intricate process piping and platform structure fabrication and the installation of large pieces of equipment in an operating plant environment.

The team tackled these challenges in a safe and timely fashion, with a high level of professionalism and dedication that lead to the overall success of the project."

Jim Collard, Manufacturing Engineering Specialist, Brockville Tape, 3M Canada Company

With a strong team of Designers, Machinists, Mill Wrights and support Team, Kilmarnock have always been able to react to any situation they have been called on, regardless of day or time and level of complexity.

Their ability to react, as well bring all the require tools such as design, certification, fabrication, testing, installation and support has led to a long standing relationship with countless projects successfully completed from strategic safety initiatives, process improvements, equipment modifications, full equipment/process design and fabrication, breakdown and Shutdown support.

Kilmarnock’s unique ability to have all disciplines under one roof allows for a complete solution, smaller more focused project Team and less risk. Overall Kilmarnock has been an excellent partner and Team member for project and strategic work and will continue to be in the future."

"I would like to say that what you are doing is extremely positive and progressive. Overall I’ve found Kilmarnock to be a well-run organization with an excellent, positive and appreciative workforce with a focus on high quality workmanship. In my case at Iogen we now have a very limited workforce and having Kilmarnock provide”design, build” capability has been extremely helpful. Jeff Brydges is one of the best “out of the box” thinkers I’ve come across in a long time. His insight and input to solving problems has been invaluable. All I can say is keep doing what you’re doing, because it’s working.

I always look at a contractor and judge them by asking myself a question “could I work for them?” In your case the answer is a definite “yes”!"

Harold Neumann, Director, Services (IE), Iogen Corporation

"As our project at Kellogg Belleville comes close to fruition, I would like to thank you and your team for your valuable contribution.

In this project we encountered many challenges along the way, such as the intricate process piping and the platform structure fabrication and installation.

Your team tackled these challenges in a safe and timely fashion, with a high level of professionalism, dedication, humour and enthusiasm.

The support of your office and management was also very much appreciated. Please convey my thanks and appreciation to each member of the team."

Mario Young, P.Eng., Construction Manager, Mayko Inc.

"I would like to convey my appreciation for Kilmarnock’s assistance and continued support on the C2 Relocation project. As you are aware, this type of build/design project is very challenging to execute, given the fact that it was not possible to finalise a lot of the design details prior to starting the work. This challenge is also compounded by scheduling requirements, the C2 process being critical to our refinery operations and the very real need to make the process operational quickly.

It’s important for me to take a few minutes to highlight a few elements which I believe were critical in the success of the project.

  1. Availability of resources: Kilmarnock Enterprise’s variety of specialist services was the one overriding factor in completing this project successfully. Having services such as specialist welding, welding inspections, TSSA application assistance and 3D CAD modelling available through the same group certainly helped streamline the process.
  2. Flexibility. Kilmarnock Enterprise was able to adapt to many of our constantly evolving requirements. This was especially true in the areas of scheduling, labour allocation, equipment delivery and co-ordination with our plant operational needs.
  3. Rapid response: Kilmarnock Enterprise’s rapid response time in dealing with critical issues was instrumental in meeting our deadline.

[...]

I look forward to working with you on future projects and endeavours."

Alexandre Bergeron, Program Management & Facilities - Gestion des programmes et installations, Royal Canadian Mint

"On behalf of SABIC, I would like to thank Kilmarnock and their employees Steve Jim and Chet for taking the initiative to bring forward their concerns regarding the super sack that they are working on. They noticed that the upper portion of the frame that is held in by a clamping bracket, had slipped down on the south side. This had caused the frame to be sitting on a noticeable angle and they were concerned about more slipping when a new heavy sack was hung from the frame. SABIC takes health and safety very seriously and encourage participation of all people in their facilities to bring forth concerns and near misses. The issue is going to be corrected. Thanks again for the safety concerns brought forward, safety is everyone’s business."

Doug Crossen, Construction Manager, The State Group serving SABIC Innovative Plastics, Cobourg ON

"The work completed by Lee Pritchard and Christian Lavigne on the weekend of Nov 2nd 2013 at GE Hitachi in Arnprior was worth recognition. The guys took the extra effort to complete the required work on time and it is appreciated by us at GE Hitachi. The expertise of the crew was very evident when maneuvering the man lift in very tight positions and performing field drilling and bolting of long C-Channels as per the drawing. After the job was complete the guys ensured they cleaned up the work area of all debris and metal filings. It is performance like this that will keep customers happy and returning for more work.

A Job Well Done. Thanks Guys!!!"
